Do I need a Class 4 license to drive for Spinr?

No, a Class 4 license is not mandatory, but there are specific requirements if you use a Class 5.

In Saskatchewan, you have two options to drive with Spinr:

  1. Class 1-4 License: If you already have a commercial license, you are ready to go.

  2. Class 5 License: You can drive for Spinr with a standard Class 5 license if you:

    • Are at least 18 years old and no longer a 'Novice' driver.

    • Have at least two years of post-GDL (Graduated Driver Licensing) experience.

    • Maintain a safe driving record (less than 12 points on your SGI record).

    • Have no impaired driving-related suspensions in the last 10 years.

Note: All drivers, regardless of license class, must pass an annual criminal record check and have their vehicle inspected annually by an SGI-certified station.
