How much does a ride cost?
At Spinr, we keep our pricing simple. Every ride includes a flat $1 Platform Fee, which covers our service and app maintenance. The remainder of your total consists of local taxes and standard trip fees (such as distance or duration) mandated by your specific city.

Why is Spinr affordable than other rideshare apps?
Pricing at Spinr is simple and transparent. Your total fare includes:
$1 Platform Fee: Our flat service fee.
Standard Trip Rate: Based on the distance and duration of your ride.
Other Fees & GST: Includes local taxes and provincial regulatory fees.
You will always see the exact 'All-In' price—including all fees and taxes—directly in the app before you confirm your booking. No surprises.
Does Spinr have "Surge Pricing"?
At Spinr, we believe in fair and predictable pricing. Unlike other companies that double or triple their rates during busy times or bad weather, we don't use 'Surge Pricing' to exploit high demand.
Our $1 platform fee stays the same whether it’s a quiet Tuesday morning or a busy Saturday night. While 'Other Fees' (like SGI-mandated insurance) and trip rates are always visible in the app before you book, you’ll never have to worry about a surprise 3x multiplier just because it’s snowing in Saskatoon or there’s a game in Regina.
