About Spinr

We built the
boring option.

No commission. No surge. No fee you have to go looking for. A rideshare app that behaves the same way on a Tuesday morning as it does at 2am on a long weekend.

What we believe

A ride is a simple thing. Someone drives, someone pays, everyone gets home.

The person doing the driving should be paid like it. All of the fare. Not most of it.

The person riding should know the price. Before they book. Down to the tax line.

And the company in the middle should charge like a company — a flat dollar for the platform, out in the open — not a growing slice of someone else’s shift.

The guardrails

Things we refuse to build.

A cut of the fare

Drivers keep 100% of the net fare. Whatever Spinr charges is a flat, disclosed amount — never a percentage that grows as the driver earns more.

Surge pricing

The same trip costs the same at 8am, at bar close, and in a January whiteout. No multiplier, no “dynamic pricing”, no asterisk.

Hidden fees

Every charge on the receipt is a disclosed line item: fare, flat fee, tax, tip. If a number can’t be explained, it can’t be charged.

False comfort

The SOS button alerts your emergency contacts and our safety team, and offers one-tap 911. It never claims to replace calling 911 — nothing should.

What comes out of a fare

Follow one fare.

To the driver

Spinr’s cut of the fare
0%

Spinr takes $1 from a trip. Not a percentage — a flat dollar, the same whether you went four blocks or across the city, at 8am or at 2am. That is the whole of what comes out of a fare, and it is the reason the driver’s column reads 100%.

Home ground

Built here, for here.

Saskatoon first

One city, served properly, before the next one. Everything here has to work here before it works anywhere.

Canadian rules, by design

Privacy, insurance and trip-record obligations were the starting point of the build, not a compliance pass at the end.

Money stays here

Proudly Canadian. The fare a Saskatoon rider pays is earned by a Saskatoon driver.

Fewer surprises.
That’s the pitch.

Available in Saskatoon. Proudly Canadian. Fair, both ways.
